A welcoming website for a passionate florist with deep community roots.
After 50+ years of running her flower shop without a website, Bonnie was ready to bring her business online—but without losing the charm that made her shop so beloved. We created a custom Squarespace site that finally gave her stunning work the spotlight it deserves. Now, longtime customers (and new ones!) can browse her arrangements, get in touch, and see exactly why Bonnie’s been the go-to florist in the Lehigh Valley for decades.

Bonnie came to me wanting a website that was simple, honest, and true to her—nothing over-the-top or flashy, just something that showed what she can do and made it easier for people to find her. She didn’t have a super specific vision, but she knew it had to reflect her personality and stand out from the usual floral shop crowd. She also wasn’t looking for a shoppable site—just a warm, welcoming space where people could get to know her, browse her beautiful work, and feel inspired to call and place an order. That way, she can stay focused on what she loves most: creating thoughtful, one-of-a-kind arrangements.
One of my favorite details on the site is the awning at the top—it’s a sweet little homage to the actual awning that used to hang over Bonnie’s shop. It adds a touch of nostalgia and charm, and felt like the perfect way to bring a piece of her story into the design.
The gallery gives a small glimpse into the kind of magic Bonnie and her team create. Every arrangement is completely custom—no two are ever the same—so we kept the gallery simple and curated. Just a handful of photos to spark inspiration and show the care, creativity, and variety that goes into every piece.
This section gives a peek into the heart of the business—Bonnie herself. With over five decades of experience and a true love for what she does, Bonnie’s story is the foundation of everything at the shop. It’s more than just flowers here—it’s family, community, and a whole lot of passion.
We made sure to showcase a couple throwback photos of Bonnie working in a flower shop in the '70s—not just because they’re fun to look at (though they are), but because they show where it all started. Her love for flowers runs deep, and these snapshots highlight the experience, passion, and history behind everything she creates today.
It’s all about setting expectations. The site walks visitors through how to get in touch with Bonnie to place an order, what info to share—like the occasion, color preferences, and delivery details—and what her process looks like from there. We also included the areas she serves, so everything’s clear and easy from the start.
We included real reviews pulled straight from Bonnie’s Facebook page to show just how loved she is by her customers. Social proof was important here—there’s no better way to share the quality of her work and care than through the words of happy clients. And honestly, there wasn’t even a single bad review to skip over (which says a lot!).
Working on this site with Bonnie was such a joy. It was all about honoring her story, keeping things true to her personality, and creating something that helps her connect with more people in her community. I loved getting to bring her vision to life—simple, beautiful, and full of heart.
